Children's Clinic

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

The Apollo Medical Children's Clinic is available for enrolled children under the age of 13 years who have acute medical problems and cannot get an appointment with their regular doctor within 24 hours. 

Please phone Apollo Medical if you wish to make a booking to the children's clinic and you will get to speak to a doctor who will advise the best course of action for treating your child, and may result in an appointment being made.

Long term issues are still best managed by your child's regular doctor who is familiar with their medical history.   The children's clinic has booked appointments for standard general practice consultations.  The appointments are for 10 minutes duration and are with our general practice doctors.  The appointments are free of charge to our enrolled children (normal fees apply to visitor children and Non-NZ children).  Appointments can be made by phoning our receptionists or online through our patient portal Health365.

The advantages of this Children's Clinic service are:

• Set booked time / no need to wait to see a doctor through our Urgent Care service
• Free of charge to enrolled children under 13 years
• Staffed by general practitioners with an interest in child health

You can also continue to bring your child to see one of our Urgent Care doctors without an appointment between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday for acute medical needs and accidents/injuries.  

Note: ACC consultations for all children under 13 years are free of charge at all times.
